Title.

Rick Riordan was born June 5th, 1964.  He started out writing adult mysteries.  When his son was diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia he started telling his son stories about Greek Gods and their children.  When. he ran out of stories to tell his son told him to make up stories.  Rick created The LIghtning Thief as a bedtime story.  It took three nights to tell the whole story.   After he was done his son told him to write it as a book called "Percy Jackson and the Olympians The Lightning Thief."
